U-Pick Pumpkins SVG File

August 11, 2020      1 Comment

Who is ready for fall? I am… well at least the decorating part. Not quite sure I am ready for school to start again, but I do love fall décor. What about you? Today I have a free “U-Pick Pumpkins” fall svg file that can be used to make an easy and quick project for your home.

I recently found this free platter. It’s kind of crazed and chipped. Honestly, I liked that because it makes it look and feel more like an antique platter.

Originally, I thought I would make a “bakery” or “farm fresh” etc. sign. But then, I started seeing all the fall decor pop up and knew it had to be “pumpkin” something or other.

I was not in the mood for a difficult project, so I came up with this quick and easy design. If you like it too, and would love to use it for a project of your own, scroll to the bottom of the post for the file.

ALWAYS Double Check Your Work!

I quickly cut the vinyl and applied it to the plate. I loved how it looked and was inspired to take pictures right away. Then, I got it all set up, got a few pictures and began to load them onto my laptop. That is when I realized that apparently I do not know how to spell pumpkin… I had forgotten the ‘p’ in the middle. Seriously… so frustrating and I can’t believe I didn’t notice it sooner!. I know some people might have just ran with it and called it good…. but I knew that it would bug me so much. So I redid the word pumpkin. So much for my quick and easy project. Oh well!

And one reason I used vinyl instead of painting it on was because I didn’t want to store a “fall” platter all year. This way I can peel it off and add a new design when the mood strikes! Which it probably will, once the Christmas itch starts.

You could get the same look with just a white plate, too, if you don’t have an extra platter hanging around in your stash. Think outside the box…signs can be made from anything!

And… I just have to say that the little bouquet in the clear mason jar is from my son, Micah. He was out playing in the yard when he came in asked for his scissors. He came back bearing these branches for me and looking so proud of himself 🙂 He’s enjoyed watching the buds blossom.

Total Cost for this project:

Platter- free

1 Sheet of vinyl from Michael’s Canada 1.50+ tax= $1.70 CAD

If you enjoyed this post, I would love it if you pinned it!
